The INS Tabar opened fire on a pirate “mother ship” after it came under attack, a government statement said.

The Indian navy said the Tabar spotted a pirate vessel while patrolling 285 nautical miles south-west of Salalah in Oman, on Tuesday evening.

When the Indian ship asked the vessel to stop for investigation, “the vessel’s threatening response was that she would blow up the naval warship if it closed on her”, the statement said.

“Pirates were seen roaming on the upper deck of the [pirate] vessel with guns and rocket propelled grenade launchers. The vessel continued its threatening calls and subsequently fired on INS Tabar,” it added.

The Indian warship retaliated and opened fire on the pirate vessel, leading to fire breaking out in the vessel, the statement continued.

“Fire broke out on the vessel and explosions were heard, possibly due to exploding ammunition that was stored in the vessel.”

Two speedboats accompanying the pirate vessel were also seen escaping during the attack.

The navy said the warship chased the first boat which was later found abandoned, while the second boat escaped.

The Tabar has been patrolling the Gulf of Aden since early this month, and has escorted 35 ships safely during the “pirate-infested waters”, the statement said. [...]

The Sudanese government and rebel groups in Darfur have flagrantly violated a UN arms embargo and chosen a military solution to the conflict over peace talks, a UN panel said in a report released Tuesday.

In the 93-page report to the UN Security Council, the panel painted a grim picture of combatants stepping up the violence in
Darfur while expanding their attacks elsewhere in Sudan and across the border into Chad.

Offensive military overflights, which are supposed to be banned, are also continuing with impunity, it said.

The panel said the new UN-African Union force, which took over peacekeeping in January from a beleaguered AU force, “has proven so far to be incapable of defending itself or the civilian population of
Darfur or fulfilling its obligations to monitor the arms embargo.”

The UN also took the time today to once again denounce Israel for Gazans’ inability to care for themselves, and to unveil a magnificent, 23 million dollar mural in it’s Human Rights Council.  Unfortunately it seems to have been funded with Foreign Aid Money.  It must be wonderful to answer to no one.  And our new President will be as cozy with the UN as the Clinton Administration.  Fantastic.

Censuring Obama’s grandmother:

She is being censured by the police so that she does not say anything - a slip of a tongue may occur - that may reveal the identity and birth place of her grandson. If she were to say something in the line of - another citizenship, or that he was born in Kenya or Hawaii  and adopted by a foreigner, and Obama is elected, that may create a constitutional crisis in the US because that will open for lawsuits to ensure Obama is not sworn in as President.

The report says she will be allowed to speak to the media on the 5th of November - a presumption that she will be telling the media of the grandson’s victory in America. It is understood that she has assembled a delegation of 30 people and tickets already paid for in order to travel to the US on the 6th of November to attend what they say will be Obama’s victory celebration.

I will make a note here, that API, has been engaging in very odd, inappropriate behavior, regarding the release of the Michelle Obama tapes. (if they exist) So I am reluctant to use them as a source.

The above story seemed important enough the post.  It appears, with the discovery of Obama’s aunt and uncle in Boston, that every one of his relatives have been gagged.  What do these people know.  And does Obama think that if he wins the Presidency, that he will be sworn in if it comes out he is ineligible to have run in the first place?

From the very beginning, API has behaved in a very odd manner.  They have taken to publishing more emails from readers, regarding the tapes, that genuine African news stories.  They have spent much of the last week reporting on themselves, than any other news.

Do these tapes exist?  I hope they do.  Will they be released in time to effect the election?  That seems unlikely, unless FOX NEWS is waiting to air them tonight, and make the rest of the weekend about Michelle Obama story, and nothing else.

Regardless of what happens, I feel that this event has been ridiculously mishandled by API.  If the tapes exist, instead of speeding their release, they have drawn out the matter, allowing API to become the news story, and the American people to be kept in the dark about the most radical, and possibly unqualified, candidate in our modern history to seek the office of the President.

As a news group, the API should report the news, not supress it so they can become the story.

Just my opinion.

Six hours after the release of information by API on the planned broadcast by Fox News Network of the Michelle Obama tape, in accordance with an agreement that has been reached between API and Fox News Network, API was contacted by Obama’s Campaign Manager.

Obama’s campaign manager contacted API by telephone and email offering 3 million US dollars followed with a request to API to cancel the deal with Fox News Network.  (API)

Finally, a release announcement from the ever cryptic and bizarre API:

The agreement stipulates that any information on the day and hour the tape will be aired will only be announce 15 minutes to the airing time. This was agreed upon to avoid any pressure being directed to Fox News Network by individuals who would want to get the details about the tape in question.

The airing of the tape can take place any time from this day and due to its sensitivity, people who will inquire from Fox News and API for details will either get a no comment answer or that there is no agreement on the table.

The most telling bit of info:  The detention of Jerome Corsi, was a show of support for Obama.  Yes, you read that right.  Corsi was arrested on Obama’s behalf.  Did Obama or Odinga order the arrest???

Perhaps the most high-profile show of support came earlier this month when conservative US author Jerome Corsi, who had hoped to launch his book attacking the senator in Nairobi, was very publicly deported for visa violations.

Obama’s racial, bullet proof vest extends all the way Africa.  Is it so incredible to think, that Americans might not vote for Obama because he is a radical, and not the right man for the job?

Although American intelligence and government sources are maintaining a strictly observed silence, the same does not apply to the Russians and so it is that we learn the real story of the MV Iran Deyanat. She was an enormous floating dirty bomb, intended to detonate after exiting the Suez Canal at the eastern end of the Mediterranean and in proximity to the coastal cities of Israel. The entire cargo of radioactive sand, obtained by Iran from China (the latter buys desperately needed oil from the former) and sealed in containers which, when the charges on the ship are set off after the crew took to the boats, will be blasted high into the air where prevailing winds will push the highly dangerous and radioactive cloud ashore.

Given the large number of deaths from the questing Somali pirates, it should be obvious that when the contents of the ship’s locked cargo containers finally descended onto the land, the death toll would be enormous. This ship was nothing more nor less than the long-anticipated Iranian attack on Israel. Not the expected rocket attacks (which could be intercepted by the Israelis) but an even more deadly and unexpected attack by sea.. It is very interesting to note that the Israeli government has in the past few weeks, been loudly demanding that the United States establish a naval blockade of Iran.

The reason for this blockade would be to prevent any more Iranian ships with deadly cargos from attacking either Israel or other targets from the sea.
