Mexico opens “help line” for Illegals in AZ

You would think, in a logical world, that the help line would encourage Mexicans in the U.S. illegally to return home, and re-enter America without breaking our laws.  Hmmmmm… I’m sure that’s going to happen.

PHOENIX (Reuters) - The Mexican government has opened a special call center in Arizona to provide a sympathetic ear for citizens caught up in crackdown on illegal immigration in the desert state.

Officials at the Mexican consulate in Tucson said they opened the center last week. It is available 24-hours-a-day to field complaints from Mexican nationals about their treatment in the border state, where as many as half a million illegal immigrants live and work in the shadows.

“We want to offer a human voice at the other end of the line, so they can feel protected and know that someone is here for them,” Alejandro Ramos, head of the consulate’s Department of Protection, told Reuters.

Great. Did anyone really want to vote McCain. I didn’t think so. Harry Reid on Amnesty…

We saw this one coming.  And it would have been the same if McCain had won.

The Dems will push Amnesty through as soon as possible.  The need the votes, and they need Americans to forget about it, before the 2010 elections…..

From DetroitFreePress: Interview with Harry Reid.

Q: With more Democrats in the Senate and the House and a Democrat in the White House, how do you see congressional efforts playing out on such issues as health care and immigration?

A: On immigration, there’s been an agreement between (President-elect Barack) Obama and (Arizona Republican Sen. John) McCain to move forward on that. … We’ll do that. We have to get this economy stuff figured out first, so I think we’ll have a shot at doing something on health care in the next Congress for sure.

Q: Will there be as much of a fight on immigration as last time?

A: We’ve got McCain and we’ve got a few others. I don’t expect much of a fight at all. Now health care is going to be difficult. That’s a very complicated issue. We debated at great length immigration. People understand the issues very well. We have not debated health care, so that’s going to take a lot more time to do

The Honorable Gentleman From Tyler, Fighting The Illegal Hordes

 Tue Nov 18, 2008 at 04:10:34 PM

Atencion! Things will get tougher for pesky border-crossers in Texas if any of Rep. Leo Berman’s (R-Tyler) nineillegal alien bills filed Monday pass. And if they don’t, then he might just have to run for governor – or at least that’s what he told the Austin American-Statesman.Among the reforms called for in the bills are requirements that all official state documents be written only in English, and that public schools identify the citizenship status of every kid in class.

“We want to be able to tell our congressmen and our senators and the President of the United States how much we’re actually spending to build new school buildings for the children of illegal aliens who are [paying] little or no taxes to build those buildings,” Berman told Hair Balls (in English, of course).

But if the bills pass, those little rugrats would face challenges before they were old enough for kindergarten: Berman doesn’t want the state issuing birth certificates to children born in Texas unless at least one of the parents is a citizen. This seems to fly in the face of federal law, which grants citizenship to any kid born here.

On the flipside, one of the bills would benefit people who shoot illegal aliens — or it would help at least two of them, anyway. Berman wants amnesty for U.S. Border Patrol agents Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean, who in 2006 were convicted in the shooting of a drug smuggler they were chasing on foot. They received 11- and 12-year sentences. (According to the bill, Ramos has been assaulted by some of his fellow inmates – which is, like, totally not fair).

We’re just glad to see that Berman’s not afraid to confront illegal immigration, which, as we’ve all learned in the past few weeks, is the single-biggest reason our economy is imploding.

Obama gets fist bump, and demands. La Raza wants their quid pro quo

..Hispanic leaders said they provided the margin of victory in Florida, New Mexico, Colorado and Nevada.

“We feel like we had a big stake in the election and that’s what prompted this historic turnout,” said Janet Murguía, president of the National Council of La Raza. The advocacy group did wait long to begin publicly pushing the new president-elect to recognize this support with key White House and Cabinet positions.

“At some point in the first term we would definitely expect to see an effort to move responsible immigration reform,” Ms. Murguía said. “It would be a big mistake not to act on this important priority.” (NYTimes)

Don’t worry, I’m sure that Amnesty is coming.  John McCain and Obama are probably talking about it right now.

I think the Amnesty will need to come as soon as February.  The Dems need the votes, and they also need to give the American people long enough to forget about it, before the 2010 elections.

Here we go America…

Again. Drug cartels operating with impunity within U.S. borders. Kidnapping a 6 year old.

What appears to be a kidnapping conducted, or orchestrated, by a Mexican Drug Cartel, is yet another instance of Mexican and South American criminals (and possible Mexican military)  becoming less and less reluctant to violate U.S. borders, law and sovereignty.

It brings to mind a June incident in Phoenix, when Cartel members impersonating a SWAT team, opened fire on a local residence, killing the occupant.  The hit men were serving a death warrant, signed by a Mexican drug lord.  The men were in full tactical gear, and acted with military precision.

WinkyDog posted a story on the 10th of Oct. regarding an assassination of a Mexican mayor.  I will repost our advise for future and immediate “Aid to Mexico…”

It’s time for real American Aid to Mexico, whether they want it or not.  Aid in the form of American gunships and anti-personnel munitions.  Deploy them south of the border, until every member, of every cartel, that we can find is dead.  And when others take their place, then we send some more aid, and some more aid, until the Mexican government is free of  cartels and corruption, provided by drug lords.

Then, and only then, will Mexico cease to be a parasitic neighbor to us, and begin to build a true, first world economy, able support it’s population. It’s only a matter of time, before governors, in our border cities, are targets as well.

The Story of the kidnapping is as follows, from Review-Journal:

The disappearance of 6-year-old Cole Puffinburger this week was related to illegal drug activities involving the boy’s family, Las Vegas police said Thursday.

The case involves “significant amounts of money and drugs” and “a number of drug deals that have taken place,” Capt. Vincent Cannito said.

He declined to elaborate on the drug deals or who was involved in the scheme, citing the ongoing investigation.

Sources said it’s believed that a member of Cole’s family owes a Mexican drug cartel between $8 million and $20 million.

Sources described the family member as an alleged money launderer for the cartel. The family member is in hiding.  [...]

The kidnappers were looking for Cole’s grandfather.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement and U.S. Border Patrol agents have been notified to be on the lookout for the suspects, Cannito said. The Federal Bureau of Investigation is also investigating the case.  [...]

One of the suspects is described as having black, shoulder-length, slicked-back hair. He is in his early 30s, 5 feet 7 inches tall and about 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans.

Police said two, possibly three, men claimed to be police officers before they entered Cole’s home on Cherry Grove Avenue, near Hollywood and Lake Mead boulevards, about 7:15 a.m. [...]

The Men in police uniforms were Hispanic.

The men demanded money, and the boy’s mother and her fiance told them they didn’t have any, police said. The men used zip ties to restrain the two, gagged them and searched the house, police said.

When they didn’t find money, they took Cole and fled in a vehicle, police said.

Lets all have a good thought for Cole, who is still missing.  He’s six, and has nothing to do with his grandfathers lifestyle or profession.

And let get tough with Mexico and the outlaws living there.  There was a time, not too long ago, that no government would dare assist or tolerate this kind of lawlessness, for fear of American retribution.  Time for America to be America again.

And hopefully the authorities are searching for Cole’s grandfather. He would make an excellent trade, for the safe return of this 6 year old boy.

Five Million mortgages to illegals, in the U.S.

Last week, I sited a report that that cities with the highest rates of foreclosures, are also cities with high concentration of illegal aliens.  Here.

Now, it appears that 5 million aliens got mortgages.  How many are in default?

When will illegals, who break the law to be here, who have higher crime rates than the rest of the population, who don’t pay income taxes, who steal health care and government services, who steal law abiding citizens’ identities, and who depress wages for Americans be held responsible for their crimes?

When will other countries(Mexico), who encourages this behavior, and even instruct it’s population on how to commit these crimes, be held responsible?

When will the banks and government officials be held responsible? (Bank of America/John McCain)

The Answer:  Not until America has ceased to be America.  Not until the raping and pillaging of America is complete, and she has to be rebuilt, by the same rugged individualism that has been forgotten by so many.

ALERT, ALERT!! Mexico may have to grow its GDP, without raping the United States…

Mexico, the richest country in the world, in terms of natural resources, is suffering because of a 4% drop in money, sent back by Mexicans living in America.

BBC:

US Mexicans send less money home

The slowing of the US economy has seen the amount of money that Mexicans are sending home continue to drop sharply, official figures show.

Remittances suffered their sharpest fall on record, down by 12% in August compared to the same month last year, according to Mexico’s central bank.

This money is the country’s second largest legal source of foreign income after oil revenues.

More than 20% of Mexican migrants work in the troubled construction industry.

Migrants have sent home $15.5bn (£8.7bn) in the first eight months of the year - 4% below the same period in 2007, the figures said. This included $1.9bn in August, down from $2.2bn a year earlier.

Exchange rate

The US is home to 98% of Mexicans living abroad, and the drop-off has caused hardship in small towns that depend on the income.

Besides the slowing economy, increased immigration enforcement - including deportation and greater border controls - have been blamed.

Families in Mexico who depend on the income sent to them from workers abroad have also suffered from the unfavourable exchange rate of the Mexican peso against the US dollar.

And Mexican Treasury Secretary Augustin Carstens warned that falling tourism and lower oil prices would also dent the nation’s coffers.

Flows of remittances from the US to Mexico are among the largest flows among all migrant workers worldwide.

Overall, remittances from workers to their home countries make up an estimated $300bn, three times the level of foreign aid.

Foreclosures highest in areas with the highest concentrations of illegals…

Hmmm.  Go figure…. With the entire world focused on the bailout, is anyone thinking about this?  Would love to know what the percentage of foreclosures to illegals is… maybe not.

Mortgage Meltdown Due To Subprime Lending To Illegal Aliens

I have been covering the banks that announced they were giving loans and mortgages to illegal aliens for years. It just boggled my mind at the time that a bank of any kind would expect someone who could be deported any day a non-risk when it came to loaning them any money, whether it be in the form of a credit card or a mortgage.

What could possibly go wrong?

Well now we know what could go wrong and everyone is ignoring the illegal aliens and corrupt banks impact and hand in this crisis.

Michelle Malkin has an excellent piece up today in Family Security Matters which brings it up again because many Americans do not remember or did not know that the banks were enacting these kinds of reckless “standards and practices” - complete with advertising campaigns aimed at illegal aliens specifically - that all Americans are now being forced to pay for with their hard earned monies.

It’s no coincidence that most of the areas hardest hit by the foreclosure wave — Loudoun County, Va., California’s Inland Empire, Stockton and San Joaquin Valley, and Las Vegas and Phoenix, for starters — also happen to be some of the nation’s largest illegal alien sanctuaries. …Regional reports across the country have decried the subprime meltdown’s impact on illegal immigrant “victims.” … The amnesty-promoting National Council of La Raza and its Development Fund have received millions in federal funds to “counsel” their constituents on obtaining mortgages with little to no money down; the group almost succeeded in attaching a $10-million earmark for itself in one of the housing bills past this spring.

The top banks clamoring for their handouts as their profits plummet, led by Wachovia and Bank of America, launched aggressive campaigns to woo illegal alien homebuyers. … Ads proclaim: “Sin verificacion de ingresos! Sin verificacion de documento!” — which loosely translates as, ‘Income tax forms are not required, nor are immigration papers.’”

Read the rest of it, it includes some other tidbits you may not know.
